Kate Tops Vanity Fair’s “Best Dressed” List

The newest royal is making her name as a fashion icon: the former Kate Middleton, now Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, topped Vanity Fair’s “Best Dressed” for 2012. Prince Charles reportedly spent $55,000 on designer clothes for the Duchess, but Kate is known for being a “frugal” shopper. She doesn’t even use a dresser but instead shops for herself. Impressive: she hasn’t made a single fashion misstep!

While this is Kate’s third time on the list, her brother-in-law, Prince Harry, made the list for the first time, along with Monaco’s Charlotte Casiraghi. I’ll be looking out for the September issue and will post the article.
