A guide to Princess Diana&Catherine Dolls

Here is a cute video featuring the Mattel set of William and Kate

The dolls are produced as part of a collection by the US toy maufacturer Mattel, which makes Barbie dolls, and have already sold out in America.

The box set costs just under £100 and the company says they are more of a collector’s item than a toy.

Head buyer at toy retailer Hamleys, Laura Olver, said the shop was expecting a lot of interest in the dolls due the ongoing popularity of the couple.

“Straight after the engagement another manufacturer brought out a Catherine doll in the blue engagement dress which took us by surprise. We sold about 30 times more than we originally forecast we would sell of that doll,” she said.

Most of the photos on this website came from the personal collection of Dani Deininger who has purchased a majority of them through ebay auctions over the last three years . A majority of the Franklin Mint Doll ads were given to her by Jody Brittian. Some of them may have come from the web in the form of web searches . The actual photos of some of the dolls are also Dani's unless other wise noted.
